RISE eX-detainees, which is fully governed by refugee eX-detainees based in so-called Australia, urges government and non-government bodies to impose trade and human rights sanctions on Israel for its international human rights crimes, genocidal activities and its unlawful “Dahiya Doctrine” carpet bombing of surrounding nations that have caused millions of people to be displaced, as well as thousands who have lost their lives.
We call on all levels of society at local and international level, from civil society such as trade unions and academic institutions as well as government bodies to join together and SANCTION ISRAEL and END THESE ATROCITIES NOW!
Israel has created so many orphans, refugees, widows, amputees, and irreparable trauma that can never be healed. On top of that, we shouldn’t forget that its military destruction has caused multiple environmental catastrophes from which in some cases, full ecological recovery will take decades or generations while in other cases, the environmental damage could be irreversible. Yet, Israel continues to lecture others about upholding “human rights”. How much longer does this need to continue?
Where does the authority come from to give Israel, which is an aggressor state and has no mercy or compassion for the great or the small, and is given the green light to even disregard the authority of the UN? Is the sovereignty of the world in its contaminated hands? How is it allowed to kill and massacre to such an extent, and how are the officials and elders of other countries obedient and approving of Israel to such an extent?
Israel can’t continue these types of violence in the name of “anti-Semitism,” while continuously bombing countries including other Semitic peoples, without any accountability, yet they have been given a space in the UN as well as internationally in economic growth forums. Israel stands alone in breaching so many laws without sanctions, meanwhile if any other country had done even a part of this, that would be the end of the road for that country on many levels. One country standing there and making the whole world suffer and not abiding with humankind is not acceptable.
For years, Israel has been targeting more than seven countries in the middle east, including targeted killings and bombings, without having any repercussions.
Why is this country given such power?
Is Israel above the law, or are they the law that bends when convenient for them?
